Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre UK activities commendable, says Sayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal

LONDON Nov 16: The activities being carried out by Britain’s KMCC (Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre) are commendable, said noted philanthropist, social worker and author Sayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal.

Sayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal, son of one of the great visionary Panakkad Sayyid Mohammed Ali Shihab Thangal, was speaking at the annual family meet hosted by KMCC UK in East Ham last week.

The event, attended by hundreds of people had the keynote address titled “Family-Society-Politics”, which was delivered by Chelambra CH Centre general secretary Sirajuddin

This was followed with Munawwar Ali Shihab Thangal inaugurating the website of Britain KMCC and releasing the book “Ishq Pookunna Kalam” written by Keecheri Abdul Ghafoor Maulavi.

KMCC Chairman Karim Master Memunda and KMC Organizing Secretary Arshad Kannur explained about the ‘Charity Box’ of British KMCC, which is planned to be established in the homes of KMCC members and supporters.

Amidst the cultural performances of the students, the Duffmuttu conducted under the leadership of Ramsheed Kalluravi and Sadiq Panakkattil was appreciated by the entire audience.

President Assignar Kunummal presided over the program. Other office bearers Ashraf Keezhal, Zubair Kottakal, Naufal Kannur, Zubair Kawwai, Ahmed Arikot and other executive members presided over the program.

General Secretary Safir Perambra welcomed and Treasurer Nujum Thotannoor proposed the vote of thanks.
