Kattappana native Malayalee residing in Reading dies of cancer

LONDON Nov 5: News of death again saddens UK Malayalees. The deceased has been identified as Rachel Sunil, 33, of Kattappana.

Rachel, who lived in Reading, had been battling cancer for some time.

Rachel was admitted to Cambridge Hospital two weeks ago with severe abdominal pain. Examination revealed that she was suffering from cancer and that her condition was serious.

She was discharged from the hospital two days ago and returned home. The situation deteriorated on 3rd November and she passed away

Her husband is Sunil from Thiruvananthapuram. He is currently working as a tourist home manager in London. The couple do not have any children.

Rachel is the second of three children of TS Baby and Mani, a native of Kattappana, Idukki.
