Dhakshina UK pays tribute to NHS workers through dance video

LONDON April 25: Eleven dancers, those who are part of the Dhakshina UK based in Croydon, have put together a dance video to pay tribute to the NHS health workers who are fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

The eleven dancers, who reside in different parts of Croydon, utilised their time to create a dance tribute to all the selfless and tireless healthcare workers and all the fearless fighters fighting against Covid19.

The dance was choreographed by Smt Chitra Lakshmi. Smt. Chitra Lakshmi is an accomplished choreographer, trained classical dancer and teacher.

The dancers who particpated in this dance tribute are Chinnu Jijin, Athira Vijayakumar, Archana Radhakrishnan, Veena Cheringal, Divya Nambiar, Seely Prem Nair, Mili Hariprasad, Sujatha Menon, Reena Lijo Joseph, Sheena Mangalath, Sangeetha Sreevas.

Dhakshina UK is committed towards teaching the traditional Indian dance forms and imparting the Indian culture within the students living in UK.

Dhakshina UK runs regular dance classes in Ashford, Aldershot, Eastbourne, Croydon, Canterbury, Folkestone, Maidstone, Thanet and Tonbridge.
