Inquiry into viral video of car race between Prithviraj and Dulquer ( Video )

KOCHI July 24: The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) has declared a probe into the viral video of an alleged car race between actors Prtihviraj and Dulquer Salman. The probe was ordered after a video of the ‘race’ by the actors went viral on social media.

Two youngsters who followed the actors on their bike recorded the video and uploaded it. The incident appears to have taken place on the Kottayam-Kochi state highway. However the exact date of the ‘race’ is not known.

The cars involved in the incident are Porsche and Lamborghini models. The Motor Vehicle department said that a probe had been ordered to find out whether the actors were involved in rash driving.

An instruction has been given to the MVD’s Automated Enforcement Wing (AEW) to verify the speed-detecting cameras installed along the Kottayam-Kochi route.

If the cameras can detect the violations, notice will be served on the RC (registration certificate) owner

Meanwhile, the stars have not responded on the video
