THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Feb 18: Poet Madhusoodanan Nair has come forward saying that the government is primarily responsible for the issues regarding Sabarimala women entry.
Public react to such issues on the basis of the stands taken by the government. Government could have kept abstinence in this issue, Madhusoodanan Nair told a media.
He also said that he does not agree with the women entry and those who believe in lord Ayyappa should respect the characteristics of the deity. He said that people should not view it just as a problem of discrimination.
Meantime, state government has filed more documents in the Supreme Court in connection with the petition against observatory committee in Sabarimala women entry case.
Standing council member G Prakash has filed ten files which consist more than hundred pages. The government has also filed the affidavit which state that Bindu and Kanaka Durga are not real devotees.
