Fahadh, Dileesh and Syam announce next film ‘Joji’, inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’

KOCHI Oct 3: Actor Fahadh Faasil has teamed up again with noted director Dileesh Pothan and successful scriptwriter Syam Pushkaran to come out with film titled ‘Joji’. The actor himself has taken to Facebook to announce the film news.
Fahad wrote: “Excited to team up again with Dileesh Pothan & Syam Pushkaran. Produced by Bhavana Studios in association with Fahadh Faasil and Friends & Working Class Hero”.
Joji is a movie adaptation inspired from William Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth.
According to reports, Fahadh will play the titular character of Joji, and the Malayalam movie will be set in contemporary times, and is believed to be a tragic saga on the same lines of Macbeth.
The film is set for a 2021 release, and also has Shyju Khalid as cinematographer and Justin Varghese as music composer.
The film will be a production of Bhavana Studios, partnered by Dileesh, Fahadh and Syam. Their last work was the critically acclaimed Kumbalangi Nights.
