Puttingal temple stage collapse: Labourers injured

KOLLAM Jan 30: A concrete stage that was under construction at Paravur Puttingal collapsed on Monday. Many labourers were caught in the rubbles.
Eight labourers were taken out.  Suresh (48). Bhadran (58) and Kuttappan (55), who sustained fractures in legs and arms, have been admitted to Medical College hospital.
The injured were those men who were involved in the construction work of the stage. Locals and temple staff took out the victims from under the collapsed stage.
Other injured persons have been admitted to nearby private hospital.
