Dileep to file bail plea again

KOCHI Aug 10: Actor Dileep’s advocate Raman Pillai informed that a bail plea will be filed again for him who has been remanded for the third time in connection with the abduction case of an actress.
His advocacy has been taken over and necessary steps are being taken after examining the court procedures. The high court had earlier rejected his bail plea.
The Angamaly Magistrate Court had yesterday remanded him to August 22. The case was handed over to advocate B Raman Pillai from advocate K Ramkumar.
Though the situation has changed, it is not easy to get bail considering the nature of the case. There is a possibility to seek permission to get him admitted in the hospital citing his poor health condition. However, medical examination has found his health condition satisfactory.
A decision has not been taken to approach the Supreme Court in order to get rid of the high court statements against the actor mentioned in the previous verdict.
Raman Pillai had discussed about the case with the actor’s former advocate K Ram Kumar. Meantime, more time will be needed to settle the bail plea and as it is a sexual harassment case, the present situation is not likely to favor the actor.
