Mohanlal expresses desire to quit acting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Jan 9: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal expressed his desire to quit acting. In an interview to a private channel, he said a decision on it will be taken in the next few years.
 
The actor who started his film career through Manjil Virinja Pookkal in 1980 has acted in almost 400 Malayalam films and a fewfilms in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
 
Meantime, Mohanlal’s Randamoozham scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair will begin next year. Mohanlal will play Bheema in the film.
 
MT has completed the scripted and a copy of it was given to the actor. The film is being made at a budget of Rs 600 crore, he added.
 
I have never thought of correcting the stand taken on centre’s demonetization of notes, he said.
