Thiruvananthapuram basks in award glory

Thiruvananthapuram March 10: When last year’s State film awards were announced, it was the capital city that tasted more sweets. Best actor, best actress, second best actor and debut director are all from the Capital.

Indrans’ house is at Kumarapura. It was after a long gap that Indrans brought the award to Thiruvananthapuram.
Alancier Lopus had become the second best actor through the film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.

Alancier is Thiruvananthapuram Puthanthoppu native. He is a wonderful actor, who found a place in the heart of the public through some of his brilliant performances.

Best Editor Appu Bhattathiri, debutant director Mahesh Narayanan (Take Off) and Script writer Sajeev Pzhoor (Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum) are all familiar to Thiruvananthapuramites.

Though Parvathy is currently in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram is her home town.
