Nurses’ strike called off following assurance from chief minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM March 6: The mass bunking strike in protest against not implementing the salary hike, announced by the nurses of the private hospitals in Kerala has been called off.
The United Nurses Association (UNA) has informed that it has decided to call off the strike following an assurance they received from the Chief Minister’s Office that the salary hike would be implemented in the current month itself.
Nevertheless, the UNA leaders have said that they would continue their protest at the KVM Hospital in Cherthala.
