Sachin Tendulkar attends Rajya Sabha after long break, gets roasted on Twitter

New Delhi Aug 4: Sachin Tendulkar resumed his innings in the Rajya Sabha after the former Indian cricketer was spotted attending a session in the Parliament on Thursday.
Tendulkar, who is also an MP of the Upper House of the Parliament, however, opted to stay mum on his return.
Sachin’s rare appearance comes two days after Samajwadi Party MP Naresh Agarwal raised questions over the absenteeism of nominated members from Rajya Sabha.
Agarwal had asked Sachin Tendulkar and actress Rekha to resign from the Rajya Sabha if they failed to make it to the session.
The ‘God of Cricket’ was previously spotted in London during the Wimbledon tournament supporting favourite tennis star Roger Federer, with his wife Anjali.
Since then, Tendulkar has been out of the news and many were taken aback on his return to the Rajya Sabha. Twitterati soon joined forces and couldn’t resist trolling the Indian cricket icon:
