BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan appointed Mizoram Governor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM May 26: In an unexpected political move, BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan was appointed the Mizoram governor on Friday evening.
 
Kummanam Rajasekharan started his activities as an activist of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Sangh Parivar in Kerala in 1970.
 
On December 18, 2015, he was appointed the State president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala.
 
In 1987, he resigned from government service and became a full-time Sangh Parivar worker. He has been at helm of Kerala's Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Kshetra Samrakshana Samiti, Balasadanams, and Ekal Vidyalayas.
