T C Mathew resigns following corruption allegations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Oct 2: Former president of Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) T C Mathew has announced his resignation from all duties of the association following corruption allegations levelled against him.
 
Sources close to the association says that his resignation is due to the pressure that mounted on him from with KCA following allegations of corruption.
 
He was the Idukki district secretary of KCA. Reports say that he will also lose his BCCI membership also with this resignation.
 
Earlier this year the representatives of KCA, including T C Mathew, had resigned from their respective positions following the order of Lodha Committee, which was appointed for the cleansing of BCCI.
 
Sources close to KCA suggests that this resignation is alos a part of the ongoing process of cleaning up BCCI.
