Kent Hindu Samajam to celebrate Maha Shivrathri on Feb 13

GILLINGHAM (Kent) Feb 10: Shivratri is a Hindu festival which is celebrated by people following Hinduism across the globe.
People often fast on the night of Shivratri and sing hymns and praises in the name of Lord Shiva. It is believed that the people who fast on this night and offer prayers to Lord Shiva bring good luck into their life.
Kent Hindu Samajam celebrates Maha Shivarathri on Tuesday 13th February, 2018 from 6.00 pm until 12.00 midnight at Medway Hindu Mandir, 361 Canterbury Street , Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5XS. Kent Hindu Samajam requests its members and supporters to attend the auspicious and spiritual event at the Mandir.
